Anything less than a frank debate on these issues will hasten a government which races to the bottom, abandoning liberty and limited government for inescapable, tyrannical “equality"
The INEquality Act: How We Got Here, and What We Do About It
For decades, United States Congressmen have become experts at false advertising in their legislative endeavors. The “No Child Left Behind” Act of 2001 left many children behind. Government fiat to fix education through regulatory reign would never balance or phase out achievement gaps.
Schooling by standardized testing does not increase or improve learning, but certainly increased the budgets of government-run schools and the bank accounts of scholastic education firms and researchers. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act? “If you like your doctor, your insurance plan, your health, etc., you can keep them.” Right? Need I say more: Congress loves to label bills to appeal—and deceive—the voting masses.
