To my knowledge, Disney and FOX never had the rights to this film or they would have buried it. Disney is involved in pedophilia and sex trafficking. They had to circumvent Hollywood and the establishment as they did with The Passion. They didn't want this film made.
Angel Studios bought the rights and was able to get it into a limited number of theaters. It still beat the new Indy movie with 2,000 fewer theaters showing it!
