Sean Loftus, an outstanding defender of unborn children and marriage - and Ireland’s leading Christian politician for 50 years - is no longer with us. He died peacefully at 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Mater Hospital in Dublin surrounded by his family. He was 82, and was recently diagnosed with brain tumors.
