Today is Bill of Rights day, but it is likely that it will glide by most Americans as they rush to and fro in their daily routines. It arrives in the wake of the death and destruction of killer tornadoes that ripped through six states across the Midwest and the South last Friday night into Saturday morning. It is likely that it will not be noticed in comparison to the challenges of struggling to survive in a very dangerous environment in 2021.
Especially, the current toxic political environment of the United States, presents a clear and present danger to American citizens "unalienable rights" as outlined in the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution. Unfortunately, only a portion of citizens may even view this as significant to their daily reality. Yet, without "unalienable rights" from God, our struggle to survive has relatively little meaning.
