In order to maintain objectivity when we turn to the controversial subject of Transgenderism, it is expedient that the dictionary definition is used.

Definition of transgender : of, relating to, or being a person whose gender identity differs from the sex the person had or was identified as having at birth especially: of, relating to, or being a person whose gender identity is opposite the sex the person had or was identified as having at birth

A transgender could have the anatomy and blood chemistry of a man, but psychologically identify as a woman.
