That's why constitutional education is so important.  If we don't understand the U.S. Constitution we will not be capable of restoring the republic as it was originally constitutionally designed.

The Truth About Citizenship

The Truth About CitizenshipAmerica's government was never supposed to be a national government.  We are a federation of states, therefore, we have a federal government.  The United States is a union of states of which the original member states recognized that their individual sovereignty was essential to the concepts of localism and liberty.  On their own as individual and separate entities they were not strong enough to exist in a world of empires and oligarchies.  The former English Colonies, once they achieved their independence from the British Empire, decided to band together as a single force for the purpose of their "common defense" and so that the new central government could handle the issues that a national type of government typically faces.  It was an attempt to seek balance.

"That’s why constitutional education is so important. If we don’t understand the U.S. Constitution we will not be capable of restoring the republic as it was originally constitutionally designed."

Good article, well stated case - but that last line brings to mind the concept that the "educators" (indoctrinators?) of the past deaces, led as they are by left leaning unions, have intentionally quashed such an understanding as a part of the plan to create the large class of usefull idiots we see all around us today...

There are a few things that went wrong in our evolution as a country.

First, we adopted secret election ballots, and that allowed the vote counters to select the election winners.

Second, we have devolved into a two party political system that has been accused of being two heads on the same snake. And yes, the two parties do their best to keep other political parties from succeeding at the polls.

Third, we have an allegedly elected political class that makes their full time job living on the public dole and of controlling others. The Bidens and the Clintons may be classic examples.

Fourth, this is no longer a land where everyone is treated equal under the law, as the rich and powerful are easily able to operate outside the law.

Fifth, the country's government is under control of foreign powers as is demonstrated by our congress critters swearing an oath of allegiance to israel. And yes, SCOTUS has allowed only one foreign national to work inside the US government (israel).

Sixth, as the country's government has merged with political communism, it has become as constitutionally lawless as any other communist controlled government. This problem has accelerated as the CPUSA decided to join the democrat party.

There is obviously more to discuss, but you get the idea. Yes, it appears to be the time to return the country's political power to the states. And yes, it is sad that the CSA lost the war because they were fighting for states rights all along.

Let’s just get it together and be the People who run the government. Do the damn work- unless you like living in Social Darwinism/the Animal Kingdom. The elitists want to subvert the whole thing because what’s being “elite” if everyone is equal and no one is inferior? But look at what animals do to each other in the wild. Pretty horrifying, but that’s for food for them to survive. Humans do that just for kicks.
1. Perhaps we Americans just don't care about being Citizens. Too many rules that we want to rebel against because no one has the Right to tell me what to do!!!
Besides, being a citizen takes too much WORK, and we don’t get paid for it.
Maybe it's more exciting to us when we focus on the citizens we're groomed to hate by politicians and their flying monkeys, Media and activists.
Maybe we've decided that it's more pleasant to be under government control. During a pandemic, we don't have to make our own decisions, we just obey because we're too afraid.
Government enforces equal outcome so nobody in the neighborhood puts any pressure on us to do more than we want to because nobody in the neighborhood is actually successful and productive.
Maybe we just want to live in apathy and unproductivity. I mean, the government will pay us to entertain ourselves with gaming all day long.
2. The Sovereign Citizen movement is just another means to get away from rules and is only about making sure I have all that the elites have, by any means necessary. The lowest common denominator between people is the lust for the highest status and Power. Writer is correct about Anarchy: it’s the complete absence of government order. That’s when there’s also no legal control of any BAD, destructive behaviors. Survival of the fittest or strongest; the rest are breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

B. Franklin was right: Our Constitution was made for a moral and religious people; it will not work for any other.

Our foundation has been misunderstood from the beginning. By Common Law, the only ones who have duties, authorities or responsibilities under a signed agreement are those who sign it. The Federal Government is not a signatory; what it receives is an assignment of purposes and duties rather than authority. Also, it means what is written as that is what was agreed - Judicial interpretation may well be beyond the authority of Federal Courts.

The issue with putting the right people in place is that, our votes do not count. If they really did, we would not be aloud to vote. This defacto government that is in place working for the queen is bankrupt. By reclaiming our "STRAWMAN", we are in fact reclaiming our "Land and soil" status, and our original constitutional freedoms. In 1787 when our REAL congress walked out, they never returned and a TEMPORARY congress was put in place. The keyword was "Temporary", and we have now returned and are forming our legal government, which should have been done back then. The temporary government that was in place is no longer needed or wanted.

This is an absolutely brilliant summary of how the idea of America came to be, why it was founded and why it has succeeded (so far). It should be mandatory reading in every middle school civics class (do they still have those?) in every school district.
