Once again, TIME has chosen a reliably liberal recipient to be “Person of the Year.” The winner is 16-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, who has spent the past year appearing at rallies and giving speeches railing about the dangers of fossil fuels. At a 2018 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Poland, Thunberg claimed not to “care about being popular. I care about climate justice and the living planet."The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
