Fellow Americans:
Today, July 4th, is the 240th Anniversary of the "Declaration of Independence."
While this day is set aside for public celebration, this year it is an important time for personal reflection on the true meaning of this noble Document, in particular: "Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government."
