How can the Ukraine win a war with a country that at one point in history was thought to be a “super power”? If the US invaded Canada which country would most likely prevail? Sorry Canada, I’m only speaking in hypotheticals.

Russia has PUBLICLY stated their end game is to control ALLK the territory
formerly controlled by the Soviet Union. I'm afraid that means that if Russia were to stop fighting tomorrow, the war would be over. If Ukraine stopped fighting tomorrow, the day after, the war would commence in Moldovia and the baltic states, maybe even Poland.

Without western aid, that would have happened. But this is now a proxy war between the west and Russia, and only one side will survive... not win.. SURVIVE
if Russia is as good at defense as they have been at offence, we will surely know who will prevail by the end of June.
