So it seems that there was a nefarious motive for calling the First Congregation before the entire College could attend: they voted in 3 of Pope Francis’ closest collaborators to assist Cardinal Farrel in governing the Vatican City State for the next 3 days.
This gives them basically carte blanche to destroy any documents they need to destroy to prevent their own prosecution for crimes during Bergoglio’s antipapacy and papacy. The next Congregation will be Wednesday afternoon. The Three Cardinals elected will hold their offices until Friday morning. ---More...
