We live in crazy times. Here I was in Christmas-almost-here-mode, when someone from whom I would least of all expect it, sent me a message that my hero, the late, great, sadly missed radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh was a secret… “globalist”.
Needless to say, it knocked my Christmas breath all the way up to the frigid North Pole.
“Rush Limbaugh a “globalist”?
As anyone rational would say: “Puleeze!”

I miss Rush so much I listened to him every day from start to finish what a hoot he was from the banking queen to the justice brothers . He brought a lot of laughs to serious issues and the dem/communists hated him. What a loss .I have tried listening to the two guys that are in his time slot and I have turned them off I would rather listen to the oldies station. Miss you Rush.

I miss Rush dearly. I listened to him almost daily for the whole time he was on the air nationally. I subscribed to his website and it gave me countless hours of reading pleasure and videos that could almost always bring a smile to my face and a chuckle in my throat. He was like a brother to me. I will never forget him and the warmth, laughter and knowledge he gave me every day.

I found and listened to Limbaugh being on the radio, I think it was WBEN Buffalo, for maybe the last 4-5 years of his life and thought he was hilarious. He also appeared to me to be one of the old-style Freedom loving Americans, so Globalist is a ridiculous accusation.

Hate to say it but Rush did support free trade back in the early 2000's years after the Perot-Gore televised debate on it in the 90's. He bought into it would take low level repetitive jobs overseas leaving the higher paying advanced ones here. I was listening at the moment. He opposed Bush's illegal immigration Gang of 8 getting listeners to flood the capitol phone lines, yet supported trade as politically altered.
I listened to Rush daily at work from 12-3 from 1991 when first hearing him till around 2002 when he talked up free trade. I never consistently listened to him again, just once in a while. Very disappointed. In fairness, it was the only thing I ever disagreed with him on.
