Many of you, who have read it, will recognize the title of this article as the opening line in Ayn Rand’s classic novel Atlas Shrugged. As I have been assessing my possessions during my current downsizing move, I ran across my copy of Atlas Shrugged. I originally read it a decade or so ago and was somewhat impressed with what Rand had to say. At that time I thought I got it, but I now recognized I didn’t really get it at all. On my first reading I certainly didn’t fully appreciate, at that time, just how far off the rails our government already was.Welcome to CFP’s Comment Section!
