A Red Wave finally bursts to the surface, as the GOP sprints towards victory in both Houses. Every close race is turning Right. But why did it wait so long after two years of Biden's horrific failure? After relentless mistake and one stupid idea after the other? How do we understand this sudden development? It might be easier than the question sounds.
A Guess? Does it come down to the fact that the left has finally rejected everyday reality? For example, if you look at the direction our country has gone the last 50 years, it's traveled further and further into fantasy. For instance the Sex Revolution offered instant intimacy, without any cost. Or so it was sold. Yet, it led to the collapse of marriage. We then convinced ourselves marriage itself was optional, or even bad, as a sexist matriarchy of oppression.

I think it is unwise to presume that we will have a red wave coming in November. Given what we saw in 2020 with the presidential election, we have to play as if there is 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter and we down by 9 points. No assumptions folks. Keep working to get all the red votes we can!

This article should be used in schools; it is such a concise summary of where we are as a culture, and why. I'm a little disappointed, however, in that the author presumes some significant shift in the zeitgeist is occurring - affecting the mid-term elections - without taking it to the single mom, bleak-future student, backsliding breadwinner level. Yes, we know the whys and hows of this great malaise but what is really going on with those habitual left-leaners.
I don't expect a stampede back to churches; for wokesters that is a non-starter because religious practices haven't kept up with the evolution of minds and methods. When two thumbs can call up a line from Shakespeare or pornography in the blink of an eye, wisdom - especially morality - has to be made similarly accessible to those who want a quick fix. It's not helpful to rail against noses continuously in devises - that only alienates the nose owners. There is a need for parents, media, educators to challenge unused reasoning power in ways that avoid instinctive recoil from "Jesus-freak" dogmas and practices. Don't get me wrong - I too believe in salvation through following Our Lord but I think that Christianity II (or Judah III) is needed to adapt avenues to faith such that they are more appealing to today's "virtual reality" mind-set.

There should be a mechanism in place that enables representatives of the American people to go right into a polititian's office and tell him "you're fired" immediately. The impeachment process should not be necessary in some cases such as this one. That process takes too long to accomplish. If Biden was dismissed in this manner as described, and Harris too, right on down the line of bad apples, we probably would not have this problem today.

The only way for Democrats is to somehow suspend the election. Hmmm....I bet a nuclear incident would do it. The government has purchased millions upon millions of radiation sickness pills....for some reason.

Okay--the statement "...even a baby duck, if trained young enough, is really a Golden Retriever....". Is ridiculous. A baby duck, however trained, could never be a Golden Retriever--unless it first IDENTIFIES as a Golden Retriever. Just sayin'...
