This Veterans Day, I’m thinking of 78-year-old veteran Robert Rosebrock and his courageous and relentless efforts to have a a roof put over the heads of thousands of America’s homeless veterans, still tragically aimlessly languishing and sleeping on the streets of L.A.—with no politician stepping up to champion their cause.
Legions of politicians will be out in droves today at town and city cenotaphs laying wreaths in honor of the nation’s war dead.
