Election Day, Registered Independents

11-02-10: Independents’ Day!

As we advance towards Election Day, 11-02-10 is shaping up as a bellwether ‘Independents’ Day!’ With many people disillusioned by the antics of members of both major political parties, the ranks of those registered as ‘Independents’ or ‘Not-Affiliated’ have mushroomed to over 32% of the electorate.

Sadly, many of the leadership within both major political parties have scales blocking their vision of how frustrated a growing number of the electorate is. Money and unemployment are not the underlying issues of our current demise; lack of biblical faith and lack of trust of elected politicians are what is ailing our blessed nation. Instead of listening to the Word of God and the cries of the electorate, many within the leadership of both parties have hunkered down in a fight to reject God and retain personal turf. How is that serving the people of this nation? The unwillingness by the majority of elected politicians to serve those they have sworn an oath to serve has forced people to splinter from the planks of the parties, even opposing those they formerly supported. The frustration of the independent-minded is best manifested by the emergence of the TEA Party and its growing impact within just eighteen months. While the TEA Party is attached to the Republican Party by a political umbilical cord, a high percentage of those who are active within the TEA Party are Independents who have been disenfranchised from the Progressives who are infesting the GOP. Unfortunately, the Progressive leaders of the Demoncratic Party have such a stranglehold on the party, there is a vacuum of independent thinkers within the party. The emerging ‘Independent’ individuals can think for themselves, not waiting for feeding time like a pet animal. With the fraudulent pushing of much of the ‘green movement’ by ‘respected’ individuals who live lives in conflict with the green movement, nothing is ever mentioned by the ‘enlightened’ about cultivating truly green/new leaders to overcome the problems that have festered under their treacherous leadership. It’s time to clean the plaque from the arteries of Congress that has built up due to the lack of significant turnover of elected politicians inside both Houses of Congress. Freedom atrophies when those elected to protect it protect themselves instead. The visionaries and change-makers for our broken political system are coming from outside the traditional political system. These emerging leaders have not been polluted by a system based upon protecting the elected at the expense of the electorate, or from ideologies that are counter to our Constitution, freedoms, quality of life and old-fashioned common sense. They are patriotic citizens, working to raise families and be positive contributors within their individual worlds. Are you praying for a miracle for our survival as a free and sovereign nation? We need genuine ‘hope’ from above and on the ground, not the political ‘hope-a-dope’ practiced by so many career politicians. Should these new ‘Independents’ maintain their principles and ethics once in office, they will have laid a firm foundation for other, like-minded individuals to join them in 2012. Combining Divine intervention with Newton’s Third Law of ‘Action-Reaction’ within our political system, we can rescue our humble nation with our ‘Independent’ reaction to the destructive efforts that our Two-Party system of Progressives has savaged us with over the past several decades. 11-02-10 has the potential to restore our Independence as Independents establish a beachhead within the once hallowed halls of both houses of Congress.
