Was it the visceral vengeance of Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi that sent municipal officials in to to shut down Pastor Artur Pawlowski’s Easter Saturday Service?
Instead of getting away with it, Ezra Levant’s Rebel Media uploaded a video that showed Pawlowski driving the mayor’s interlopers out of his church—sending it viral over the Internet.
Mayor Nenshi’s ‘henchpeople’—including local health officials, City of Calgary Bylaw Services, and police have been dogging Pawlowski ever since he started his good works to feed Calgary’s many homeless.
“I have seen the power of unified Poland during the Solidarity and I have seen what we can do as people if we will only unite,” Pawlowski encouraged the crowd. The preacher who escaped communism and made his home in Canada detailed his oppressive life under the Soviet communists in Poland and warned that Canada is rapidly turning into a communist state. “Pawlowski observed that the Canadian heritage is being “erased” and citizens need to “push back” in order to regain their country: “For the past decades many in this country have been successfully erasing and attacking our heritage! It is time we push back!”
“As Canada devolves into an anti-Christian state indicative of all communist countries, Pawlowski has become a target. He has been harassed, fined and openly threatened by the Islamic mayor of Calgary, Naheed Nenshi, Antifa and other radical left-wing radical groups for preaching the Gospel in the streets, and even for feeding the poor, he said.”It was on May 18, 2020, that the gutsy preacher who escaped Soviet control to come to Canada proclaimed: “Behold our Calgary Mayor with his thugs that will enforce this law against the church!! “The fight is on: Calgary’s Mayor Naheed declares War on Christianity”. “On Wednesday and Thursday, May the 13th and 14th, 2020 the city of Calgary councillors with its Mayor debated on the new proposed law; “The ban on conversion therapy”! The public was not allowed to come in. This is yet another attack on our rights and freedoms in Canada. This so called “law”, if passed will become an illegal infringement on our Freedoms of Religion and Conscience.”Authorities called “the mayor’s thugs” by Pastor Pawlowski may have tasted victory as they converged upon his Street Church on Saturday. Instead the preacher put the run to them, calling “Get out Nazis, “Get Out!” “Get Out” to their fleeing backs.
