TORONTO, - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is pleased to announce that the most popular models in the Legacy lineup enter the 2012 model year with pricing carried over from 2011. This makes the versatile, well-equipped Legacy a better value than ever, especially since ALG named Legacy the Best Midsize Car in its annual Canadian Residual Value Awards. Not only is Legacy great value for the purchase price, but ALG predicts that it will retain more of its value than any of its competitors.

A few thoughtful upgrades for the 2012 model year include new communications technology for Limited models: Pioneer AVIC - X9310BT in-dash touchscreen navigation, smart phone integration, AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA Bluetooth streaming audio, Bluetooth hands-free system with steering wheel-integrated controls, and a Pioneer 6-speaker audio system. In fact, the Legacy 2.5i Limited and 3.6R Limited with the addition of the navigation system, actually costs $1400 and $1,300 less than a similarly equipped 2011. Prices for the Legacy lineup include:
  • Legacy 2.5i (6-speed manual transmission) $23,995
  • Legacy 2.5i (CVT) $25,195
  • Legacy 2.5i Convenience Package (CVT only) $26,395
  • Legacy PZEV (CVT only) $27,095
