The Trump administration is now requiring all SNAP participants to reapply for benefits.

The move is being made to crack down on fraud. Participants will need to demonstrate that they meet eligibility requirements to receive benefits.

Over 40 million Americans (about 12% of the country) receive SNAP benefits.
