60 Years of Indoctrination

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. Zechariah 12:3

We have long suspected that campus indoctrination has contributed to much of the political and social chaos in our country. It has now come to a head. Academia, much of the grade school system, and a major political party in America have been taken over by the Left. It is no longer a secret. It is in our faces.

Your children are not being educated. They are being indoctrinated

Your children are not being educated. They are being indoctrinated. And their indoctrination is being supported by the Democrat Party. Their indoctrination is on politics, social issues, and morality. As you probably know, their morality is in the trash can.

Stanford, Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Minnesota, Columbia, NYU, UCLA, Cornell, Yale, Brandeis, and the University of Virginia are just a few of the universities where students are rising up in support of Hamas and protesting 'Israeli occupation.' All while administrators keep relatively quiet.

Listening to the student protests tells me the students badly need an education.

After the Roman Siege of 70 AD and the diaspora, the dispersion of the Jews among the gentiles, Israel became a region that Muslims and Christians fought over for many years, primarily over religious sites. The Muslims never considered Israel or Jerusalem to be very important for Islam. Mecca in Saudi Arabia was their holy site. A memorable scene from 'Kingdom of Heaven' showed the Christian hero Balian, negotiating with Saladin in the hopes of obtaining agreeable conditions for his surrender following a bloody battle for the city. As they conclude the surrender, Balian asks Saladin, "What is Jerusalem worth?" Saladin responds, "Nothing." Saladin walks away, stops, turns around, and then says, "Everything."

Palestinian Arabs never cared about creating a state, a nation, or a homeland for themselves

The Holy Land had changed hands under the control of both Muslims and Christians for hundreds of years until 1517, when the Ottoman Empire (Islamic) took control. It was a forgotten and desolate land, occupied by nomadic Arabs with about a third Jews. It was never a country again until Israel's rebirth.

By the late 19th century, Jews began to immigrate back to Israel (Palestine) to escape persecution in eastern Europe. At the same time, the Ottoman Empire was beginning to disintegrate until its death following World War I.

After the end of World War I, the British assumed control, with the League of Nations issuing a British mandate for Palestine, promising the rebirth of the state of Israel.

Palestinian Arabs never cared about creating a state, a nation, or a homeland for themselves. They collect millions of dollars in aid every year and spend it on building tunnels and buying weapons, not building schools, hospitals, or making the lives of their fellow Palestinians better.

After World War II and the almost complete devastation of European Jewry in 1947, the UN proposed a partition plan dividing the area into two sections: an independent Jewish state and an independent Arab state. Jerusalem, which both Jews and Palestinian Arabs claimed as a capitol, was to be considered an international territory with special status.

The Palestinian Arabs that fought alongside other Arab nations were rejected by both the Arab states and the newly formed Israel

Jewish leaders approved the plan, but the Palestinian Arabs, many of whom had fought the British and Jewish interests for many years, opposed it, complaining that their area was too small even though Israel accounted for just .2% of the Middle East. Jewish leaders offered Palestinian Arabs full Israeli citizenship and access to all religious sites, as the original plan called for. The Arabs rejected their proposal, and in 1948, when Britain withdrew from Palestine, Israel declared itself an independent state to show approval of the plan. Five Arab nations including the Palestinians then invaded to prevent the birth of Israel.

The rest is history. Israel won the war. The Palestinian Arabs that fought alongside other Arab nations were rejected by both the Arab states and the newly formed Israel, which they now considered an enemy.

Through the years, no Palestinian leader has ever been willing to engage in serious discussions about peace. The Gaza Strip is a prime example. Who puts hundreds of miles of tunnels below a city to be used for secretly moving terrorists, weapons, and other contraband unless you are planning an unending war? And unending war, they have: The 1967 war, the 1972 Munich Olympics attack, In 1973, the Yom Kippur War. 1987 saw the First Intifada (revolt), clashes between Israel and Palestinian Arabs for years. In 2000, there was a second uprising because PM Sharon visited a religious site in Jerusalem. In 2006, Hamas won the elections in Gaza and hasn't had an election since. In December 2008, Palestinians launched rockets into Israel, supplied by the tunnels underneath Gaza City. In 2014, Hamas kidnapped and killed three Israeli teenagers from a Jewish settlement. In the spring of 2022, 14 Israelis died in a string of Palestinian attacks.

What do our colleges and universities teach that causes so many students to hate Israel, Jews, or even their own country?

What do our colleges and universities teach that causes so many students to hate Israel, Jews, or even their own country? Higher education today is not teaching students how to think. It's about teaching young people what to think. The college system in America and elsewhere has become morally and intellectually bankrupt. Its teachers, in many cases, are not successful businessmen or women or even interested in teaching a subject matter. Too many of them have an agenda, and that agenda is getting converts to their 'religion'—progressivism and their animosity toward God, family, and country.

The Left is sure they are morally and intellectually superior. Yet, their solution to a fallen world is not to worship God; they don't believe in that. It's not freedom or capitalism, where everyone has a chance to become successful through hard work and, at the same time, solve problems of poverty and inequality. Their solution is control. The sword of Damocles hanging over everyone's head (except for the elites). Judeo-Christianity created Western civilization, so they want it gone. To the Left, we must dissolve the entire system and start from scratch. Be as God! You can research the World Economic Forum to find their 'solutions'. It's stuff like getting rid of 80% of the planet's population and building 15-minute cities, where they say everything you need will be a max of a 15-minute walk from where you live. What they don't tell you is that the 15-minute city is actually an internment camp. They don't want you leaving. Look around you and connect the dots. Our society is being dismantled. Trump wasn't going for it. That's why he had to be removed.

The Left wouldn't realize it, but their malady is very much a spiritual issue

There is another issue at play: in the 1960s, the Vietnam War produced a new leftist narrative: the oppressor and the oppressed. You know, Jane Fonda sitting on a piece of anti-aircraft artillery with the friendly, home-spun North Vietnamese. Now we have Black vs. White, rich vs. poor, the little Palestinians against the powerful Israelis killing Arabs whenever they get the chance. It makes no difference if the so-called oppressed are beheading babies and killing whole families who are minding their own business.

The Left wouldn't realize it, but their malady is very much a spiritual issue. They, for the most part, do not believe in God, so the entirety of Western civilization is on the chopping block. When you don't believe in God, you will believe anything. Progressives say mankind has the power to change human nature, that we are pliable, and that we can be perfected. That is why the World Economic Forum talks incessantly about creating the perfect human being, living forever, changing one's gender, and on and on, using their god, technology. We cannot. Our genetic makeup is such that it always defaults to self-interest.

To the Left, Israel represents everything they hate: God, hard work, independence, democracy, capitalism, and freedom. The New World Order is every bit a leftist endeavor. They want to destroy society and start over. They don't believe in peace through strength. They believe in peace through control—a police state.

In order to achieve social order, we must commune with God. That is probably why Progressives are always so angry. They don't have God's power, and they certainly don't have the answers.
