Thirty-seven-year-old Canadian Shad Budge won’t be tucking into a Roast Turkey Dinner this Christmas Day. You can’t cook turkey in a truck, and his truck is what Budge now calls home.
Recently laid off from his job at Walmart, he’s destitute this Christmas, and unless he can find a job, will remain destitute into the coming New Year.
Young Budge isn’t the only one trying to get by in a truck. Legions of other young Canadians are trying to hang onto their survival in one of the most resource-rich countries in the world, Canada where one of the worst ‘pandemics' is the grinding poverty that comes with homelessness.
Budge emailed Canada Free Press today asking whether CFP could take him on as a freelance writer, or if we knew of any other news outlet that might give him a chance.
Financially strapped CFP couldn’t help, but after reading a well-written and timely story he had submitted, recommended a contact in an another news outlet.
"I was spending a lot of time attempting to procure employment by advertising with large poster boards at busy street corners as you can see in this tweet, Budge wrote CFP later today.
“How to survive the tribulations of homelessness” seems to be a new reality in a Canada run by arrogant and callous Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his side kick NDP leader Jagmeet Singh. Trudeau—winging his way to sunny Jamaica—with his self-described “immediate" family including his ex-wife Sophie Grégoire none of whom would ever have to worry about living in a truck.

Both Trudeau and Singh sent out Christmas messages today telling Canadians how much they care about their dire straits.
Budge continues:
"Just two days ago I was able to pitch a piece of legislation that I created to my local MLA, Dan Coulter, which could unequivocally solve 95% of homelessness. I titled it the "Impoverished Peoples Act". I have another meeting with a separate MLA on January 9 to pitch as well. I will attach a copy of it so you can peruse at your leisure.”
Budge lives in Chilliwack, B.C., but homeless people are spread throughout most of Canada.
It’s Christmas. It’s cold. Many people are hungry but still trying desperately to hang onto hope.
If someone is living in dire straits around you, please try to help, even if all you can afford is a cup of coffee and a friendly smile. If you run a news outlet, and have room for an articulate writer with a nose for news, you know who to contact.
It’s cold and hostile in the New Democrat Party-propped Justin Trudeau-led Liberal Government, yet many look forward to better days ahead.
This sad and true story was rushed into posting by CFP after reading the hypocritical Christmas messages from both the Liberals and the NDP.
Merry Christmas to every Homeless Person living in a now heartless and hypocritical Liberal/NDP Canada.
