A giant leap toward full government healthcare
Even the most liberal voters must be able to do the math
Sarah Palin said, "If you put lip stick on a pig, it's still a pig". I appears that's just what the Obama administration is trying to do to Obamacare. The poor, poor contractors trying to design a system that hides all of the truths.
The roll out might have been smooth had they not had to go back and hide any information that would show comparative prices for different age brackets. In the desire to keep information from the young people about their costs compared to others, because it is disproportionately higher, the programmers were asked to make major, last minute changes.
The news is rife with stories about the train wreck we are facing. The scariest news out there is that in many states, perhaps ultimately all states, The majority of those signing up are Medicare enrollees. That is free - or in Washington speak - single-payer healthcare. You and I being the payers.
It is painfully obvious that this entire exercise in government strong-arm tactics was carefully crafted to deny young people the truth that they are the key to the success of the plan. And worse, that this is a giant leap toward full government healthcare.
Even the most ardent Obama supporter has to see that the Governors who saw the jump in Medicare recipients were correct.
And even the most liberal voters must be able to do the math and realize this cannot possibly stay afloat unless more taxes are extorted from the dwindling pool of taxpayers.
