A “Secret Deal” was struck to steal the land of Point Reyes, California farmers that sat on prime oceanfront property

- $70 million was laundered to environmental NGOs who then bled the farmers dry legally
- They bankrupted farmers for nearly 10 years
- The Nature Conservancy brokered a deal, with the involvement of the National Park Service and environmental groups, to end most ranching in Point Reyes National Seashore
- This settlement followed the lawsuits filed by environmental groups
