A short cut for the bad guys

Intuition and common sense are wonderful tools to survival in this world. In the ad nausem discussion about the data collection center, there hasn't even been a nod to the American people acknowledging their common sense and intuition.

Do a web search or go to the library and research newspaper archives where stories abound about data leaks. There are banking leaks, credit cards hackers, medical record leaks, government agency leaks, intel leaks, security breaches, and so on. The American people realize that it is impossible to stop the very creative and motivated people who want your information. Nor is there a way to prevent human error. They may not be able to name specific incidents because they are so numerous, but they haven't forgotten. Now we have the this massive center where all the communications data will be stored. It looks to the people like a short cut for the bad guys. One road to all the goodies. Add the Benghazi cover-up, the IRS abuse, the attempt to silence reporters, allegations of voter fraud where the people see abuse and manipulation of data and information. And finally, the creeping feeling that the foundation is being laid for something much worse. With the aforementioned facts, the intuition and common sense of the people has kicked in and they are not happy. Gerald Manegold North Port, FL
