A Stranger In My Own Country

In the dire upheaval of Canada under the prime ministership of Justin Trudeau, who ceded The Land of the Maple Leaf over to the WEF (World Economic Forum), I, and millions of others are now so many unwitting strangers in our own country.

POOF! Gone like the wind, under Trudeau the True North is no longer Glorious and Free.

Smiles never did return after government enforced COVID-19 face mask mandates were dropped. Legions of Canadian citizens suffer silently after the Truckers Convoy set them free from Trudeau’s 2-year Lockdown—when all churches and schools were shut down.

The Online Streaming Act: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s online censorship bill

For Canada Free Press and other independent news outlets, of which there are far too few, already suppressed and being driven out of business by social media, led by Google, we await a shut-down future under Bill C-11, which has finally reached the Senate.

A Free Press is no longer part of modern-day Canada, and hasn’t been for some time. It went down through the policies of WEF advocate JustinTrudeau, whose New Democrat Party-propped-up government controls CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) with more than $1 billion tax dollars a year. Not content with his own broadcasting corporation but wanting more control, in 2018, just before his second election, Trudeau lavished $600- million on the Canadian media, in effect, buying them off.

Today small independent news sites, such as Rebel Media, True North, Epoch Times, Post Millennial, Western Standard, CFP and others await the Sword of Damocles

In the most trying of circumstances, Canadians try to hold onto hope—today an up and down business at best.

It seemed almost too good to be true when Elon Musk tagged CBC as government owned as he had tagged NPR in the U.S. When CBC executive hollered back, pointing out that they were only less than 70 percent Canadian government controlled, Musk made a correction in his own personal Tweet, then later dropped it all together.

Nonetheless, Canada was sinking fast as a free nation long before Musk took over Twitter, and continues to sink now that the influential Musk has caved on the Liberal, so very much Woke CBC.

Today small independent news sites, such as Rebel Media, True North, Epoch Times, Post Millennial, Western Standard, CFP and others await the Sword of Damocles to come down on their heads should the Senate give their approval to Bill C-11 as expected.

Don’t know what these independent news outlets will do, but I know that CFP will go on fighting tooth and nail for the right to stay independent and online.

The Truth is that through thick and thin, I have been a reporter all of my adult life, working in the day when journalists were expected by editors to cover both sides of the story; those days when if you were writing a story about a political scandal, you had to call the politician involved asking for his/her side, which was included within quotation marks in the story.

This was followed by online ‘journalists’ who, by and large, don’t report on the news, but make it up from whole cloth; where “News” even fully displayed on one of the world’s largest news outlets, considers how good So-and-So celebrity looks in a bikini, as Important “NEWS”.

The son of Pierre Elliott Trudeau (PET) will have a problem holding the head of Yours Truly under water if that’s what he has in mind.

Not only did CFP survive the mighty Google—who still send emails demanding we take our front page down

Not only did CFP survive the mighty Google—who still send emails demanding we take our front page down daily, its editor once stood up to Justin’s powerful Daddy, PET so many moons ago.

This was back in the day when she was working for a so-called independent community newspaper, unbeknownst to her owned by a Liberal publisher.

All had gone relatively well according to so, right up to Federal Election time. My editorial staff and I had finished the front page of our final Election Issue, with a picture of all three contenders in the Ontario Riding under the banner headline: ‘Vote for One, But Vote’.

I was out in the newspaper parking lot, heading for home, when my reporters came running over to tell me, they had seen the front page reading, ‘Vote Norm Cafik’, (the Liberal) being readied for the printing press.

After being informed by the publisher that their version would be the one printed, my staff and I walked off the job, telling him we’d “NEVER” be back.

The following Monday, popular Gordon Sinclair of ‘Front Page Challenge’ television fame, had a story about our fate under his byline on the front page of the Toronto Star.

PET was soon at the end of the telephone line, asking me when he got through to reconsider and go back to the paper.

My answer: “NEVER!” is the same one I would give to his tyrannical son Justin, if he thinks I would cave in to C-11, of which he is the prime architect.

“NEVER!, Justin Trudeau: “NEVER!”.

The picture above is myself looking at the majestic Atlantic Ocean, yesterday, reflecting upon the advent of C-11, a reflection that is the most beautiful reminder of a certain unchangeable Truth. God Almighty owns the world, even gone-Socialist Canada—NOT JUSTIN TRUDEAU.
