Barack Obama's "fundamental transformation," become increasingly difficult for people to accept, the damage is still being done

An assemblage of the wronged – a Frankenstein monster

“...when those muscles and joints were rendered capable of motion, it became a thing such as even Dante could not have conceived.” --Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley American heritage has been under attack for the last 50-60 years, as the Left dissects history then pieces it back together into an out-of-control Frankenstein monster that they present as a Utopia. As they try to destroy our heritage, they attempt to replace it with an assemblage of wrongs made right by their united front of individuals embittered by those they perceive to have wronged them.

As I was watching the History Channel's three part series Sons of Liberty, it's hard to see how Americans cannot be inspired by its portrayal of our struggle for independence from the British Crown. Yet we have tenured professors in our nation's colleges who are busy indoctrinating our kids with the idea that our history is simply one of bad white Europeans perpetrating evil wherever they went. I was so proud and appreciative of those that fought against the Brutish troops at Lexington on April 19, 1775 as I watched them prepared to give their lives. Then tears came to my eyes as it showed George Washington reading the just-published Declaration of Independence to his troops being organized to fight to the end against their formidable colonial overlords. On the other hand, Michael Moore seeks to deconstruct history and show us that the oppressive regime in Cuba is some kind of utopia we should pattern our society after. And some on the Left have taken his most-recent propaganda bait and are joining with him in calling an American hero a coward, while the rest of America makes the movie 'American Sniper' one of the biggest box office hits ever. At the same time, the Obama administration’s stammering spokespeople find ways to call Islamist terrorists something other than what they are, while Christiane Amanpour and others are busy referring to terrorists as “activists." All in all, this makes it quite a challenge these days for people on the Left to explain the Obama administration’s "logic" to the rest of us. But while the next two years of Barack Obama's "fundamental transformation," become increasingly difficult for people to accept, the damage is still being done. And it's up to the voters in this nation to not only vote their opposition to Obama, as they did last November, but to hold accountable those we've elected to the promises they made to us during the election campaign. With an opposition-party-controlled House and Senate now, we can begin to undo some of the damage done by Obama and the Left, but we have to make known to the ever-conciliatory Republican leadership that we want change and are not content to just keep drifting toward the abyss.
