Credit card usage

Another form of tracking

Are you aware that with some credit cards (maybe all), you will be prohibited from charging if you wander too far from the billing address without notifying the credit card company? This happened to us recently on a purchase of much needed prescription refills.

The card was declined because we had not called ahead to say we were traveling. We were told to call them every time we changed locations. Our solution will be to not use that card and any others who feel the need to track our every move. Now, mind you, we were not somewhere we had never been before. We spend 6 months here every year and have for sometime. And it was not a place we had never used a charge card before. Of course, we were told it was for our own protection. Another form of tracking where we are watched 24/7. This doesn't feel like my country anymore. Wayne A. White
