Another impeachment inquiry, or not

Please news media, stop calling them impeachment hearings and “official impeachment inquiry.” There is nothing official or legitimate about it! The whole House of Representatives is required to vote on it to make it official. Carrying on the smokescreen, on Monday the Speaker announced there will be a full House vote Thursday on a resolution relating to impeachment, but, according to what Speaker Pelosi told the press on Monday is “not an impeachment resolution.”

In April, Representative Jerrold Nadler, chair of the judiciary committee, headed up the bogus impeachment inquiry, trying to nail Attorney General William Barr on obstruction charges, even though he had just made the Mueller report public, except for, according to law, redacted portions from Grand Jury testimonies. After the failure of that effort to start a snowball effect of support for impeachment, which the Democrats had actually hoped would happen upon the release of the report itself, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi started up unofficial impeachment hearings again at the behest of the chairman of the intelligence committee, Adam Schiff. Schiff’s elaborate scheme was to create a whistleblower from the intelligence bureaucracy, who would falsely report on a telephone call President Trump made to the President of Ukraine. Then the House Democrats would use that testimony to build an abuse of power accusation that would lead to Trump’s impeachment. In summary, that was an utter failure because the transcript of the actual phone call was released by the President, showing that the so-called whistleblower’s report had numerous falsehoods in it and was nothing more than political opinions based on second and third-hand accounts of the call. The unnecessarily secretive hearings in Schiff’s subcommittee, with no classified material involved, have continued, however. Only the opening testimony of the Never-Trumper witnesses are being made public, except for those things leaked to the media by Chairman Schiff that they hope makes the President look bad. “The Democrats, of course, hope you don’t notice that the House is not conducting a formal impeachment inquiry. They are using the guise of frenetic activity by several standing committees — Intelligence, Judiciary, Foreign Affairs, Oversight and Reform, Financial Services, and Ways and Means — whose normal oversight functions are being gussied up to look like serious impeachment business. “But standing committees do have subpoena power, so why not use it? What has been going on in the House of Representatives the last several weeks could better be called the Adam Schiff 2020 Election Propaganda Services for the un-Democratic Party. It’s typical Adam Schiff “logic” at work: “show” America why he thinks Trump should be impeached by HIDING supposedly incriminating testimony from us. Then they say they need to “protect” a whistleblower from people who want an alive and unharmed whistleblower to publicly explain to us why his account of things doesn’t line up with the transcript of the famous phone call. While Speaker Pelosi ignores the Constitution and law, running her shadow Department of State, Chairman Schiff goes on his Impeachment Crusade, posing as a shadow Federal Prosecutor, leaking with abandon the “confidential” proceedings and absent from the need of providing any Constitutional rights to the accused President. Republican questioning in the hearings is severely limited and they are not allowed to provide opposing witnesses.

Due process for the accused is a fundamental part of American justice, including the House of Representatives, yet Schiff thinks his simple House committee is somehow above providing basic rights to the accused. He thinks the public should be closed off from knowing what is going on in what they falsely describe as an “official” impeachment inquiry, then say it’s not one when that’s more convenient for them. And the compliant press stay quiet about the total lack of transparency. In recent weeks, the Democrat Party Pravda media, giving no proof of their assertion, have been telling us the Biden family scandals have been investigated. Yet now, some of the same media are actually starting to question (that is, investigate) Hunter Biden about his cozy business deals. The Democrats threaded throughout the Trump administration are finding it harder and harder to stay ahead of the investigation of their wrongdoing in their attempts to frame and remove President Trump from office. When the President held a bipartisan meeting with House and Senate leaders and the Department of Defense on American relations with Turkey, Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer staged a pre-planned walkout of the meeting, and immediately held a press conference where they openly lied about what happened at the meeting.

Then, two days later, Pelosi and other Democrat leaders organize a trip to the Middle East. Boycotting the President’s meeting, Pelosi creates a shadow Department of State team to undermine the diplomatic policy of our government. But turns out it wasn’t enough to undermine ongoing activity in the region as a week later Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS, is cornered in a raid on his location and blows up himself and three children. Then the next day his second in command is killed in a Special Forces operation. Pelosi and Leaker Schiff, though, acting like they run the country, then complain that they weren’t notified in advance of the military operation. A very strange complaint, especially when you consider that a few days earlier, Pelosi and Schumer staged a walk-out of a meeting with the President that was called to apprise government leaders of ongoing activities in Syria and the Middle East. On Friday it was announced that Durham’s investigation on the origins of the Russia collusion hoax had become a criminal investigation. The Impeachment Party immediately started crying, “Conspiracy Theory!” They may have trouble pursuing that propaganda route once charges are leveled, since specific acts will have to have the label “conspiracy theory” attached to them. Lie upon lie by the propagandists will soon become top-heavy and collapse as evidence and actions that led to indictments are attempted to be propagandized away. The Impeachers will have two options, neither of which will work. Either they will act like they never perpetrated their latest debunked conspiracy theory of Trump malfeasance or the list of debunked wrongs of Trump will be treated as a list of actual wrongs, continually adding one debunked conspiracy on top of another.

Much of the latter is going on now, as we see the Russia hoax continue unabated in the minds of the media indoctrinated. Think the Trump Tower meeting was debunked as a Democrat setup? Nope, they still consider it criminal activity by Donald Jr. George Papadopoulus and Carter Page peripheral figures in the Trump campaign used to illegally set up FISA court domestic spying? Nope, they’re still Trump campaign conspirators with Russia. AG Barr doesn’t declassify Grand Jury testimony redacted in the Mueller report and give it to the Leaker of the House because that would be illegal? Nope, he’s an obstructionist simply doing the bidding of Trump the Russian puppet. A growing list of impeachable behavior? No, a continuing effort to take disparate events and portray them as illegal activity. Democrats can’t help themselves. They intentionally misconstrue events to use in false portrayals of their political opponents then treat the accusation as a growing list of proof of guilt. They’ve made quite a list of “crimes” committed by Donald Trump and his family that are actually false, debunked accusations, none of which even come close to criminal indictments and certainly have not even begun to lead to his political destruction. Instead it has consolidated and increased President Trump’s base of support.
