Another sad day for America

Lock your doors, hang on to your wallet and wait, because sooner or later the Housing Police will knock on your door to see if your house is healthy.

Just when you thought the stripping of your rights couldn't get any worse, here we go. The newly created Advanced Healthy Housing -- a Strategy for Action will authorize gives the EPA and HUD the right to come in and assess your home for health hazards. Can you imagine the potential cost to you to "fix" your home? I'll bet anything that the bottom 50% will get their homes fixed on the taxpayers dime. Imagine the financial ruin to cities, states and landlords who own many rental units. Compliance could and will send them into bankruptcy. It can be argued logically that Smart Meters are part of this effort. They can monitor energy use and report to the Housing Police the need for better energy efficiency. I can tell you right now, it will be a cold day when anyone without a search warrant gets through my doors. Will search warrants be next? No, here's what will happen, the takers will throw their doors open and welcome the Housing Police in to get more free stuff. The rest of us, hopefully, will stand our ground.
