Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, actress-cum-activist, who tried virtue signalling when crying in front of a border fence about "children in cages" when Donald Trump was president—but has patently ignored caged kids at the border now that Joe Biden's in the White House—has totally disgraced herself in her latest video "selfie".
"Gross": AOC Wears Filthy Coronavirus Mask in Video Talk-(Gateway Pundit, April 22, 2021)"Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) may be 31 years old, but she still talks and acts like a teenager. Case in point a video she livestreamed from Capitol Hill Tuesday night to comment on the guilty verdict of former police officer Derek Chauvin on charges of killing George Floyd."Knowing how easy it is to get into media headlines, 'Mademoiselle Melodrama' weighs in in every issue of our day. Back to trying to hide her easily seen filthy coronavirus mask:
"Ocasio-Cortez starts the selfie video by trying to put back on a white coronavirus mask with one hand and then letting it fall from her face while holding the streaming smartphone with her other hand. As the mask drops it is revealed to be filthy. AOC looks down at the mask and yanks it out of camera view, saying, "Hello, everybody! My mask is gross. Don't pay attention to that." (Gateway Pundit) "In the opening seconds of this video from February 1, 2021, AOC shows a much cleaner mask than the one she wore Tuesday.
"Most people in AOC's position know to carry spare masks in case of accidents, coughs, sneezes, make-up failures, etc. Otherwise one is breathing in and recycling filth and germs for hours. (Gateway Pundit) "The case for mask wearing is questionable enough for many people. AOC's performance here does not help the pro-mask cause."Signature Histrionics and virtue signalling cannot hide the congresswoman's latest ranking, for which she will, for the first time, not be commenting: "A recent study by a pair of political science professors concluded that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is one of the least effective members of Congress on the Democratic side of the aisle. "The self-described democratic socialist New York lawmaker ranked 230 out of 240 Democrat lawmakers in the study by the Center for Effective Lawmaking, led by Vanderbilt Professor Alan Wiseman and University of Virginia Professor Craig Volden. "The pair looked at the performance of hundreds of bills introduced by lawmakers in the 116th Congress, covering 2019 to the first few days of 2021 before the 117th Congress started. The researchers looked at how many bills that were introduced advanced out of committee, the House or Senate and became law.
"She introduced 23 pieces of legislation according to Congress.gov, but only one even made it to the floor for consideration. Many died in committee. "Her failed legislation included a bill to provide COVID-19 relief funds for funerals and the "Green New Deal for Public Housing Act," according to Congress.gov. "Her legislation received no action in committees, no floor votes, and none ever became law," the (New York) Post said.AOC obviously thought she could hide the filth of her coronavirus mask by yanking it aside and just telling folk: "Hello, everybody! My mask is gross. Don't pay attention to that." Meanwhile, most folk who saw it would bluntly tell her: "AOC", it's high time that you cleaned up your act."
