How arrogant and disingenuous can a cabal of elitist confederates be?

Arrogance & egos are keeping the American public broke!

On the fateful night of November 4, 2008, Michael Beschloss gushed that Barack Obama will be the most intelligent President in the history of our country. Unfortunately, intelligence does not equate to effectiveness, unless you excuse Chicago-style thuggery.

Following the ‘shellacking,’ the Obama/Pelosi/Reid Axis’s and its Bilderberg media apologists’ sole response to the people’s rebuffing of its Progressive agenda is that they (the Axis and the media) were not effective in making their case to the American people. How arrogant and disingenuous can a cabal of elitist confederates be? These indignant ‘leaders’ have heard the American people and they don’t care; they are focused upon using Congressional legislation, departmental mandates and judicial fiat to ram through their ruinous agenda against an awakened and resistant American public. The fact that the leadership refuses to be transparent and abjectly refuses to acknowledge their bullying of the American people supports the basis for the intensified distrust of the elite by the electorate. How many people remember ‘candidate Obama’ promising, in person, ‘When there is a bill that ends up on my desk as a President, you, the public will have five (5) days to look online and find out what’s in it before I sign it, so that you know what your government’s doing.’ Have you visited the ‘Organizing for America’ website to review all of the promises made to the American voter. Among the many promises, under ‘Sunlight Before Signing,’ it stated ‘Too often bills are rushed through Congress and to the president before the public has the opportunity to review them. As president, Obama will not sign any non-emergency bill without giving the American public an opportunity to review and comment on the White House website for five days.’ If President Obama would disregard his promise to the American voters to ram through the Stealth-care bill, how can he be trusted on anything else he promises? In addition to insulting the American voter for not grasping the ‘genius’ of the entire Progressive agenda, now the media is attempting to pin the historic reversal of fortunes at the ballot box solely upon the economy and resultant unemployment malaise. While a valid concern, what the Progressive politicians and the media refuse to acknowledge is the toxic impact and uncertainty that are due, in large part, to the many, costly legislative icebergs lurking beneath the surface of the Stimulus, Stealth-Care and Financial Reform bills, in addition to the tax increases set to go into effect on January 1, 2011. Additionally, QEII will steal even more purchasing power, especially from the poor end the elderly. Residents of the Gulf region surely remember President Obama’s steadfast refusal to suspend the Merchant Marine Act of 1920, a/ka/a the ‘Jones Act,’ prolonging the agony in the region. Adding salt water to the wound is the regime’s efforts to stifle drilling in the Gulf through the courts and the EPA. Again, how can anyone trust those who eloquently profess assistance while feverishly working behind the scenes to ram through an agenda that is a polar opposite to the best interests of the people of the region, and the entire nation? Our tone-deaf elected individuals are the living epitome of the ‘Peter Principle.’ President Obama appears to have been prophetic when he responded to a question from Rick Warren that specific issues are above his pay-grade. If these ‘leaders’ were this ineffective and pigheaded in the private sector, they would find themselves in the unemployment line. Instead, we are stuck with them for a minimum of two more years. The American electorate can be proud to have thrown down the gauntlet to the elitist Progressives of both major parties. We can thank God for a great start in rescuing our country from the vice-grip of the regime, but now we need to keep the heat on the Progressives, while continuing our support of the conservative/TEA Party members who are focused upon restoring our freedoms and our economy.
