Great news from Canberra – Parliament is paralyzed and, for now, can do no harm.
Neither Coalition is trusted by a majority of the canny electorate. Apart from the Deep South, the war on carbon promoted by the Green-ALP coalition was rejected. But no one was excited by the prospect of paying for Abbott’s Green Army of 15,000 loiterers and loafers. Let’s try things for a while without any more green grand plans and taxes.
