“I'm absolutely confident that for two years if every nation on earth was run by women, you would see a significant improvement across the board on just about everything... living standards and outcomes,” Obama said, according to the outlet. “As Mediaite pointed out, Barack Obama beat Hillary Clinton during the 2008 Democratic primaries before he went on to become the 44th president of the United States.”Guess he didn’t believe what he asserts now back then.
“The former president also chose a man as his vice president. He has refrained from endorsing any of the 2020 Democratic primary contenders. (Town Hall)Wouldn’t that be because none of the 2020 Democratic primary contenders are worth endorsing?
“At the event in Singapore the former president also delivered some commentary about older leaders, saying that they can cause issues by “not getting out of the way”: (Town Hall) “When asked if he would ever consider going back into political leadership, he said he believed in leaders stepping aside when the time came. "If you look at the world and look at the problems it's usually old people, usually old men, not getting out of the way," he said. “It is important for political leaders to try and remind themselves that you are there to do a job, but you are not there for life, you are not there in order to prop up your own sense of self importance or your own power.”
