The ongoing hate-inspired Battle Against Donald Trump rages on over at Fox News.
Fox News hopes that the recent departure of contributors “good Catholic girl” Donna Brazile and out-in-left-field Juan Williams, co-host of The Five, will bring back viewers who left the network in droves because of its early Election Night call for ‘President-Elect’ Joe Biden.
“Ryan made his remarks during an evening address at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California. He was critical of both Republicans and Democrats, though he saved his sharpest barbs for Trump, who is by most measures the leader of the modern-day Republican Party. “It was horrifying to see a presidency come to such a dishonorable and disgraceful end,” Ryan said, referring to the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol that Trump inspired on Jan. 6. “Once again, we conservatives find ourselves at a crossroads,” Ryan continued. “And here’s the reality that we have to face: If the conservative cause depends on the populist appeal of one personality, or on second-rate imitations, then we’re not going anywhere. Voters looking for Republican leaders want to see independence and mettle. They will not be impressed by the sight of yes-men and flatterers flocking to Mar-a-Lago.”Millions could apply the same criticisms against Fox’s board member: If disenfranchised conservatives depend on the pretence populist appeal of one television network, or on second rate talking heads. some found in the corruption of the dirty Democrat nest, then they’re not going anywhere—but down. Fox News came up with one anti-Trump poll after another during the Election Campaign; gave the floor over to Democrat hacks Brazile, Williams and others in Election Year coverage, then was the first network to call the election while folk were still out voting. You can’t go down much lower than that!

“RINO Paul Ryan, who became a lame duck Speaker of the House, lost all vote-getting capability with the people he represented in Wisconsin, and was the single biggest factor, other than Romney himself, for the monumental Romney/Ryan loss in the Presidential race of 2012 (I got more votes by far, 75M, than any sitting president in history!), and he is now speaking to other Republicans telling them how to win elections. Interestingly, I was in the Great State of Wisconsin when they booed him off the podium—I literally had to come to his rescue.”Meanwhile, what Fox is trying to do is somewhat akin to the 11th-hour U-Turn of ‘Fact-Checkers’ who deceived the public about the possibility of the virus outbreak originating from the Wuhan Lab. “It’s not an accident that most Americans are just starting to hear about the lab leak theory of COVID-19 origin as a potential legitimate source for the global pandemic’s outbreak. It’s because the theory was suppressed for more than a year by corporate media fact-checkers and their allies in Big Tech. (Daily Caller, May 28, 2021)

The theory posits that COVID-19 was accidentally released from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China, potentially after being genetically engineered as a part of “gain-of-function” research. “Evidence for the lab-leak theory has been publicly available but censored from the public on social media. “When the theory first began to surface in early 2020, fact-checkers far and wide decried it as a conspiracy theory. In September 2020, PolitiFact labeled the lab leak theory as a “pants-on-fire” lie that was “inaccurate and ridiculous.” The premature fact-check has now been retracted in May.

Tom Cotton and former President Donald Trump were chastised for wondering aloud if the pandemic could have originated in the Wuhan lab. Now, some members of the media are admitting that the story got buried for political purposes.” “Now, these very same fact-checkers that incorrectly labeled the theory false — before an alternative explanation was remotely close to being available — are declaring that the lab-leak hypothesis is “suddenly credible.” That just isn’t true. “All evidence available today was available twelve months ago, and most evidence available today was available fifteen months ago,” Rutgers University chemical biology professor Richard Ebright told the Daily Caller. “All that has changed is that the small group that seized control of the narrative in February 2020 and deceived the public and policy-makers for fifteen months now has lost control of the narrative.”Meanwhile as far as Fox News is concerned, folk can’t un-see what’s already been seen, and know that toothpaste can’t be squeezed back into the tube from which it has already been squeezed out. The truth about Fox News fighting Trump through its board member Paul Ryan is out. Fox News compromises its integrity as a news network by leaving Ryan on its board of directors. And as long as Ryan remains there few will believe one word out of the Fox News’ talking heads’ mouths ever again.
