BBC advances promotion of alternative lifestyles

The BBC already has a show called ‘Marrying Mum and Dad’ which airs on its children’s oriented CBBC channel. It has become accepted normalcy that kids will grow up in a home with unmarried parents and in the reality show the novel idea comes to the kids that their parents should get married and the kids get to plan it.

The episode for Monday August 12, 2013 came with a little twist being titled ‘Marrying Dad and Dad’. Adopted mixed twins and another adopted girl, raised by two men named Mark and Paul get to plan the James Bond themed wedding for the two men, which includes parachuting into the ceremonial area. The Times newspaper got all caught up in the scene, opening their coverage by saying “How to thank the dads who rescued you from care? Their children helped them to get hitched, in James Bond-style.” Very cute and very misleading! The Times continues “At the age of 8, twins Callum and Chloe didn’t get to choose their own clothes or their haircuts; they didn’t even get to choose what to have for tea. After four years of living in care, shuttling between foster parents and a special children’s unit, they despaired of ever finding what Callum called ‘our forever family’.”

Nobody wants to deny the kids a permanent home but the newspaper lays it on a bit thick. I don’t recall choosing my own clothes or haircut at age 8. (I tried to avoid haircuts altogether) Food choices were generally what we could afford and what mum could get me to eat, far from choice it was sometimes a cold war negotiation. So ‘The Times’ rather than reporting news has supported the BBC political agenda. Mark and Paul, had fought a long battle with the authorities on Jersey, where they lived, to become the first same-sex couple on the island to be allowed to adopt children. Now technically Jersey is not part of the UK, a self governing territory of less than 100,000, it sits closer to France who eye it purely for fishing rights. The BBC interestingly did not choose a mainland fully fledged British ‘couple‘ for their first sexual deviance in the shows series, now in its second season. The production decision though is an agenda driven choice from the nations state owned broadcaster. According to a January internal report children should be introduced to homosexuality from an early age on TV. “Incidental portrayal” of lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) people should be incorporated within programming aimed at children. According to The Christian Institute, BBC interviews were conducted with homosexual and bisexual organisations that said the BBC should be “validating children who are going through their formative years and who may be LGB” (Lesbian, Gay, and Bi-sexual). The BBC said it would “target commissioners and editors in particular” with the report’s findings. In 2012 art critic and TV personality Brian Sewell, a self-identified bi-sexual, attacked same-sex storylines on EastEnders and ITV’s Coronation Street. He said soaps were being used as “sexual propaganda” and added : “Are soaps, watched by pre-pubescent children — who may still have some tattered remnant of innocence that we should cherish — really a proper platform for sexual propaganda and special pleading?” But the BBC is on a mission. In apparent lock-step with the Cameron government they will promote their politically correct lefty agenda and are moving ahead with even more radical ideas to portray it. The wording that commissioners and editors would be ‘targeted’ clearly infers that senior production personnel will be influenced and persuaded to adjust their ideas to fall in line with the national political group-think. Clearly the BBC has decided that no matter what anyone else thinks this is the right thing to do and they are going to take it upon themselves to do what they deem is best for children. And it seems once the BBC has made up its mind the debate is over.
