Bill & Hillary praise SCOTUS for overturning DOMA

The former First Family has wasted no time in shoving their names into the news surrounding todays Supreme Court ruling. In a joint statement issued this afternoon, Bill and Hillary said:

"By overturning the Defense of Marriage Act, the Court recognized that discrimination towards any group holds us all back in our efforts to form a more perfect union. We are also encouraged that marriage equality may soon return to California. We applaud the hard work of the advocates who have fought so relentlessly for this day, and congratulate Edie Windsor on her historic victory."

Apparently, they completely forgot to mention that the law was signed by then-President Bill Clinton who, at the time, clearly had no problem with such discrimination. Whoops!

Hillary didn't change her stance on Gay Marriage until after she abandoned her position as Barack Obama's disastrous Secretary of State. In fact, Mrs. Clinton only managed to 'bravely' announce her "evolving stance" on gay marriage March 18th of this year, in a video that was widely seen as necessary for any left-wing candidate launching a 2016 Presidential bid. Here's the nausea-inducing clip. As always with the Clintons; if it means staying in the public eye, they say what they need to say, when they need to say it.
