Blind obedience
Obama supporters
President Obama addressed Ohio State graduates in his commencement address. Thanks to the "All Things Obama" media, he also spoke to young people across the country. His message was clear-ignore any voices that speak against the government.
The demographics of Obama supporters show that he was preaching to his choir. Clearly his supporters are not worried about surveillance via cell phones and computers. They aren't concerned with assaults on constitutional rights. They aren't worried that the healthcare law is killing small business and the economy. They aren't worried about government lies and cover-ups. They don't worry about the flood of illegals and the associated cost. They don't worry about Syria. And why don't they worry? Precisely because they don't listen to the voices who are sounding alarms.
So, my advice to those students, listen to your President, you will be stress free until the world crashes around you. Don't listen to those other voices who are reading, researching, talking and meeting. All they will do is make you aware of what is happening and you wouldn't want that. What the President is saying is, "Blindly follow me, ask no questions". Personally, I don't find that sort of blind obedience works for me. But, hey, whatever works for you.
