Bob Costas and Political Correctness

As I listened to Bob Costas giving his opinion on the name "Redskins" for the Washington team, I found myself wondering, are the native Americans really upset or is the ultra liberal left upset for them?

And if Redskins is not OK then why are "Browns" and "Chiefs" acceptable? Then I began to fear the fate of my Patriots. Inevitably, someone will decide there is something unfair about calling a team the "Patriots". I'm sure it offends the left and maybe even some moderate Republicans. And, what about the Cowboys? And, Oh, my gosh, I don't think Buccaneers or Raiders have a good connotation. I guess the Dolphins are safe and the Eagles. But Packers should probably be concerned. And don't even get me started with the names of baseball teams. We are so obsessed with political correctness that we've abandoned all common sense. Jean Arcamone
