President-elect Donald J. Trump is still pulling the curtain back on the high-comedy absurdity of the press.

Deplorables who have had enough of them refer to the ‘journos’ of the day as “jackals”.  The word jackals denotes a certain rough and ready toughness, when they much better suit the description “jackasses”.

Any citizen journalist, like the courageous James O’Keefe; any news site operator or writer like Julian Assange, or Pamela Geller out-scoop the mainstream media any day.

NBC’s laughable ‘scoop’ yesterday was that Trump went to dinner without inviting the press.

Maybe he thought they had no room for dinner after swilling cafe lattés at their computers all day.

Will they next shriek their complaints that they weren’t there to breakfast with him?

“Every president and president-elect in recent memory has traveled with a pool of journalists when leaving the White House grounds. News organizations take turns serving in the small group, paying their way and sharing the material collected in the pool with the larger press corps.” (NBC,  Nov. 16, 2016)

Wow, what could possibly go wrong in that kind of mass communication?

No one needs the help of Hillary Clinton-advocated “fact finders” to discover that Trump wasn’t “leaving White House grounds” but only Trump Towers, where the media constantly describes he’s “holed up” rather than just living there.

Joining in on the whiner’s club crescendo was Journo-in-a-pantsuit Brian Williams, chief anchor and managing editor of breaking news coverage for MSNBC, who returned to the wolf pack after being caught, red-handed in his 2015 lying scandals.

“President-elect Donald Trump emerged from his New York skyscraper Tuesday night for the first time in days, moving about the nation’s largest city without a pool of journalists on hand to ensure the public has knowledge of his whereabouts.”

Oh Good Heavens, who forgot to drop the Hansel and Gretel bread crumbs, making The Donald easier to find!

We the People not only know where he is, dudes and dudettes of the the press pool, but where he is going.

“The president-elect spent about two hours dining with family at the 21 Club, a restaurant a few blocks from his Trump Tower residence. Journalists were only aware that Trump was leaving home when they spotted a large motorcade pulling away from the building, including an ambulance with lights flashing. (NBC)

That would do it!

“The movement was a surprise given that Trump’s campaign had already called a “lid” - a signal to journalists that he would not be venturing out in public for the rest of the day. The practice is meant to ensure that journalists are on hand to witness, on behalf of the public, the activities of the president or president-elect, rather than relying on secondhand accounts.”

“Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks issued the lid at 6:14 p.m. But just over an hour later, Trump’s motorcade left his residence. His whereabouts became clear only after a fellow diner tweeted a picture of the president-elect arriving at the restaurant.” (NBC)

(That diner should be awarded the Pulitzer for real journalism).

“Reporters and photographers caught up with Trump at the midtown Manhattan restaurant but were not allowed inside.”  (NBC)

Did they stand outside with their noses pressed up against the restaurant window pane like little kids do at candy store shops?

“NBC News’ Hallie Jackson, who made a reservation at the restaurant, reports Trump was dining inside with his wife Melania, and that Secret Service agents moved to block her view of them.

Meanwhile, NYPD blocked off 52nd Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues as Trump dined inside the 21 Club.

“His motorcade left the area shortly after 9:30 p.m. Daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, were spotted entering a Cadillac SUV at the back of the motorcade.

“Hicks said she was unaware that Trump planned to leave his home and had not intended to leave the press in the dark. She said the Trump team was working toward setting up a protective pool in the near future.”

That’s a good one, Hicks not wanting “to leave the press in the dark”.

They’e in the dark, Hicks Dear, and have been there for decades.

“The White House depends on having journalists nearby at all times to relay the president’s first comments on breaking news.”

NBC New York put their own spin on it with a story headlining ‘Trump leaves press behind for fancy steak dinner’.

For anyone else caught for the crime dining in a steakhouse, it’s a ‘steak dinner’, but for Trump a “FANCY” steak dinner.’

“There was a standing ovation when he came and left,” said Andrew Testo, a 43-year-old who was eating with friends. “He was with his whole family. It was like Sunday dinner with the Trumps, but on a Tuesday. It was awesome.” (NBC)

“The dinner comes after some reporters criticized Trump for breaking with tradition and not informing the press of his moves.

These ‘Stars of the Whine Cellar seem to have completely missed that transforming a nation from free market capitalism to Marxist One World Order is “breaking with tradition”.

It’s a departure from protocol, they say.  Yet, The White House Messiah they boosted for eight long years, spit protocol out like chewed over bubblegum without media complaint.

Next they’ll be expecting the president-elect to come to the windows of his Tower home to wish them Good Night before turning in.
