Bringing up the rear in CNN White House Lawsuit: Fox-Now-FOE News

Bringing up the rear in CNN White House Lawsuit: Fox-Now-FOE News Inquiring minds demand to know why Fox News is supporting CNN’s lawsuit against the White House/Jim Acosta brouhaha. They’re asking: “Is Fox News now leaning to the left?” “Is Fox News in cahoots with Fake News CNN?”
Do they really even need to ask? In their own words, Fox News openly accuses the White House of “weaponizing” Secret Service passes for reporters. What a joke, there were a couple of hundred ‘reporters’ at President Donald Trump’s White House one-and-a-half-hour-long presser the day after Midterm Elections, many of whom came out on the vociferous attack, passed off as merely “asking questions”, backing Motor Mouth Acosta as their main mouthpiece. Something stinks in the White House Press Corps, which it has from the get-go. Fox News, whose droning talking heads work better than sleeping pills tried for loftier words to explain their CNN backup:
“FOX News supports CNN in its legal effort to regain its White House reporter’s press credential. We intend to file an amicus brief with the U.S. District Court. Secret Service passes for working White House journalists should never be weaponized. While we don’t condone the growing antagonistic tone by both the President and the press at recent media avails, we do support a free press, access and open exchanges for the American people.”
Right. Or should that be: “Left”?

“In a brief statement shared to Twitter, CNN thanked Fox News for backing its lawsuit against the White House. “NBC and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists told CNN that they will be joining the brief in support of the network.

“According to Axios, the following news outlets are also joining the brief: The Associated Press, Bloomberg, First Look Media, Gannett, the New York Times, Politico, EW Scripps, USA Today Network, Washington Post, Press Freedom Defense Fund, and National Press Club.” (Breitbart, Nov. 14, 2018) The White House Correspondents’ Association backed the lawsuit, filed in Washington, D.C., district court. “The president of the United States should not be in the business of arbitrarily picking the men and women who cover him,” said Oliver Knox, president of the correspondents’ group.” Nothing like piling on when it comes to the 95 % against President Donald Trump mainstream media. Is Fox News leaning to the left? On Midterm Election night, it was Fox News and not the alphabet networks, who called a Democrat victory—while half the country was still voting. And as radio talk show giant Rush Limbaugh reminds us: “They did it with smiles on their faces” really ticking off the public masses. Because the public generally has a short memory, people need to go back to the past to understand the present.

It was Fox News who started the ball rolling on Donald Trump, the Misogynist, before he was even elected, courtesy of Fox News’ hire Megyn Kelly. (ABC News, Oct. 26, 2016) In a question directed at Trump, at the first Republican Primary Debate on Aug. 6, 2015, Kelly said: “You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.” Kelly later said in an interview with Charlie Rose in October that neither she nor Fox News wanted “any sort of war” with Trump.
“He was obviously upset. That’s fine. He’s running for president, it’s not a fun business, there’s going to be ups and downs, and I know he considered that a down,” she said. “So we just wanted to forge forward and try to put it behind us, not pour any more fuel on that fire. “It was bizarre because I became the story. He was so very focused on me that I became the story, and you know, you never want to be the story when you’re a newsperson,” she said. “You want to be covering the story, so it was like an ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’ experience.”
Kelly later went on to question whether Trump was a “sexual predator” after mentioning a hot-mic “Access Hollywood” tape from 2005 in which he boasted of being able to grope women without their consent because of his stardom. He defended his comments as nothing more than “locker room banter.” Can there be any doubt that Fox News, through Megyn Kelly, provided the ammunition for Hillary Clinton to go after Trump as the world’s biggest misogynist on coming televised presidential debates? CNN and Fox News have much in common now that investigative journalism is a barely remembered corpse. Both employ talking heads rather than working journalists. Both are Entertainment rather than News. So getting back to the question: “Why is Fox News backing CNN on their lawsuit against the White House banning Prima Donna Jim Acosta? For ratings. Ratings drive revenues at both CNN and Fox News. The dirty little secret that no one is talking about is that it PAYS TO HATE PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP—AND PAYS BIG TIME. That’s something you will never read or hear about in the mainstream and social media because they’re too busy laughing all the way to the bank.
