Bullies do not harass those that they perceive will beat the crap out of them

Russian airplanes playing Chicken with United States planes, Iranian vessels harassing our Navy ships, North Korea conducting nuclear tests, a Syrian refugee crisis, bombings in 6 countries to try to diffuse ISIS. These are the result of failed policies. Furthermore the need for bombing to defeat ISIS proves that military solutions are the only thing that works. The impassioned remarks about no more troops on the ground is just so much campaign rhetoric. As long as we keep providing our enemies with money and weapons, there will be conflicts. As long as we continue to intervene in other people's business, there will be conflicts. As long as we refuse to do what needs to be done to stop aggression towards us, we will be in danger. And, as long as we have people illegally invading our country, we will be in danger. Americans need a reality check. The goal, of course, is a peaceful coexistence with all countries. The reality is, not all countries want peace. So we either need to get the heck out of those places and let the chips fall where they may, or we need to accept that boots on the ground is always a possibility. Peace through strength is not a pipe dream. Bullies do not harass those that they perceive will beat the crap out of them.
