London, October 2009 – Burberry is pleased to announce the opening of its Flagship store in Toronto, Canada. The 9,932 square foot store, located at: 144 Bloor Street.
The store showcases a full range of clothing and accessories for men and women focusing on luxury. Key ready-to-wear Burberry Prorsum looks will be made available along with Burberry Sport.
The store reflects the new Burberry design concept, developed by Burberry Creative Director, Christopher Bailey. Intrinsically British materials and themes are used throughout in a contemporary way. This is a multi-story store with staircase visible from the street with a custom polished black chrome and mirror check panel hanging in the stairwell spanning both floors. The façade is a combination of polished black chrome with the signature check executed tonally in stone with touches of black glass.
Burberry, which is headquartered in London and listed on the London Stock Exchange, was founded in 1856.
