Sad to say that the anti-Israelis message is not just propagated by taxpayer-funded CBC. Here in Canada, its a message carried deep and far by the $660 million paid by PM Trudeau to MOST mainstream Canadian news outlets

Call Hamas “TERRORISTS” Because That’s What They Are, Mr. Achi

This is what happens when we overlook the Canadian Government paying more than $1 billion a year in Canadian taxpayers’ money to keep CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) propagandizing the masses without significant challenge:

“A leaked email purportedly written by CBC's director of journalistic standards instructs reporters not to call those involved in the current attacks on Israel “terrorists.” (Epoch Times, Oct. 8, 2023)

“Do not refer to militants, soldiers, or anyone else as ‘terrorists’”?

“The email, dated Oct. 7, written by CBC's director of journalistic standards George Achi, says: “Do not refer to militants, soldiers, or anyone else as 'terrorists.' The notion of terrorism remains heavily politicized and is part of the story.”
“Even when quoting/clipping a government or a source referring to fighters as 'terrorists,' we should add context to ensure the audience understands this is opinion, not fact. That includes statements from the Canadian government and Canadian politicians,” Mr. Achi wrote.

“‘Do not refer to militants, soldiers, or anyone else as ‘terrorists’”?

Tell that to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who repeatedly refers to Freedom Convoy truckers as “TERRORISTS”, Mr. Achi

"Mr. Achi also warned reporters not to use “loaded language.” (Epoch Times)
“This is not a story that comes out of the blue, but is deeply rooted in the political and military landscape of the past few years,” states Mr. Achi.
“CBC did not return requests for comment by The Epoch Times by press time.”

Of course not. The CBC only answers to the Justin Trudeau-led Canadian Liberal Government.

Mr. Achi and the CBC throngs are running away from the FACT that Israel was attacked by Hamas TERRORISTS killing over 700, and  injuring more than 2,000- and still counting. (CBS)

The brutal terrorist attacks made by raids from land, air and the sea, involved the heartless targeting of civilians, including women and children on the streets of Israeli cities near the Gaza Strip.

Let facts tell the story: The Gaza Strip, originally left in the leadership of the Palestinian Authority in 2005, was overthrown by Hamas in 2007, though you won’t see many references to this factual occurrence in the propagandizing mainstream media of our day.

“The Canadian government has designated Hamas as “a radical Islamist-nationalist terrorist organization,”—but in the decades that followed did little or nothing to curb their ongoing terrorism—now being celebrated in most of Canada’s big cities, not to mention in other world cities.

“Mr. Achi's email also gives instructions to "not describe 2005 as 'the end of the occupation' as Israel has maintained control over airspace, seafront and virtually all movement into or out of the area.” (Epoch Times)

“In September 2005, Israel completed its unilateral disengagement from the Gaza Strip, withdrawing all of its settlers and soldiers and dismantling its military facilities in the coastal area after 38 years of Israeli presence, since 1967, according to the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency's "World Factbook," which noted that Israel then continued to control the Gaza Strip's land and maritime borders and airspace.
“The plan was negotiated by the prime minister of Israel at the time, Ariel Sharon, in the hopes of reducing conflict with the growing population of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, reported the Jerusalem Post.
"Some 9,000 Israeli settlers were evacuated from the area as part of the plan as Israel withdrew all of its forces, said the United Nations at the time.”

CBC's director of journalistic standards Gordon Achi doesn’t get to tell courageously steadfast writer David Singer what to call Hamas.

Sad to say that the anti-Israelis message is not just propagated by taxpayer-funded CBC. Here in Canada, its a message carried deep and far by the $660 million paid by PM Trudeau to MOST mainstream Canadian news outlets.

Unreassuring that the Conservative “#DefundTheCBC,” is only a hashtag, with no action to back it up.

Yet, reassuring to know that the message driven home by courageous writer David Singer is a message impossible for ‘Doing-World-Evil’ Google to suppress.
