Calling On Sergey Brin To Halt Google’s Attack On Conservative Websites

Conservative activist Robby Starbuck’s major legal victory against Google on Friday by having his $15 million defamation lawsuit move forward by a Delaware Superior Court ruling, could potentially lead the way for freedom from Google persecution for countless conservative news sites, including Canada Free Press.

Countless news sites and websites were delisted and demonetized by Google for reporting on the ravages of COVID-19, many of them forced into bankruptcy.

“Conservative activist Robby Starbuck landed a major legal victory against Google on Friday as his defamation lawsuit will be able to move forward, according to a Delaware Superior Court ruling.

"Last October, Starbuck filed a suit against Google seeking at least $15 million, alleging the company’s artificial intelligence programs defamed him by falsely portraying him as a "monster" to millions of users in the form of "AI hallucinations.”

“Google not only delisted and demonetized innumerable news sites and websites and threatening to take them offline for reporting on COVID-19—but also throwing them offline for posting truthful reports on Global Warming/Climate Change, and One World Order."

Google, not only censors the news—but controls advertising on virtually all websites. Google has a monopoly on advertising, so in effect, has a monopoly on censorship.

In March of 2020, Google attempted to throw small but fiercely independent Canada Free Press (CFP) offline:

"Our long censorship battle with Google started back in March of 2020 when Google rep Kevin Flores first emailed then telephoned, asking if Google could help us financially, during the first months of COVID. CFP’s IT guy Brian Thompson took the call, reporting it back to this writer.

"We flatly turned down their offer, knowing at heart that Google would ‘own’ CFP if we accepted their offer.

"Little did we know back then, that by our simply turning down their offer, Google would turn their full heft and power against us, intent of which was to force us offline.

"They gave us a choice: delete all articles they did not like or lose their ad code off the pages on which they appeared. In other words, remove the offending articles, or take their ad code off the offending pages.

"Ardently believing in the truth of our articles, we promptly took the ad code off—but Google insisted in daily emails that their ads were still being shown on CFP—which was a bold-faced lie.

"All attempts to reason with them failed, but we did receive a two-day reprieve before censoring us again.

"Next came daily threats to take sections of our site down—including our front page.

"Then after four straight years of this unabiding harassment, Google switched from demanding individual articles by all CFP columnists be taken down, to an order “take your whole site down”!

“Having censored us, Google then went on to censure our access to almost the entire online ad market! (Google’s market share of Internet advertising holds at about 90%).

“Nobody was allowed to use google code to run bids or ads on our site. (Adsense 3rd party ads, show up as fillers on almost every ad platform in the world).

“Over the last four years, we lost most of our ad companies owing to them not wanting to butt heads with the world’s biggest advertising network—and who could really blame them?

“Incredibly, all Google ads ‘found’ on CFP were not placed by CFP—or the few networks that we currently use—but by a product of Google’s infiltration on all ad networks around the world!

According to their policy notes, Google accuses CFP of being “dangerous”, “hurtful” and “threatening.”

“How is this for irony: CFP was censored and penalized—and is still being penalized for posting Truths, such as the COVID vaccine is potentially dangerous, that masks and social distancing didn’t work, and that even testing for COVID did not work. Google banned our articles suggesting that Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine could be effective therapies against the virus.

“Fast Forward Five Years: How many COVID deaths did Google facilitate by constantly promoting how safe and effective the COVID vaccines were?

We’d say they are “dangerous,” “harmful” and “threatening”, not CFP and the rest of us.

“During this all-out Public Relations/Censorship duality, Google pushed so called “fact check” sites onto their search results.

“We now all know that these fact check sites were supported by U.S. government money, including USAID.

“In total, CFP lost has an estimated $150G to Google over the last five years. We were making about 2-3,000 per month, but starting in March of 2020, we essentially lost that revenue when we were demonetized.

“Not just CFP, but many other conservative news sites are being thrown to the wolves by an all-powerful, uninterrupted Google:

“As many of you are aware, in April last year we lost our primary Ad revenue because we refused to enforce Google moderation rules in our comment system. (Sundance, Conservative Tree House, Feb. 18, 2025.)

“The ridiculous demand for content control within our proprietary commenting system was actually the culmination of years of effort by Google and tech allies who were looking for ways to demonetize our platform and control information from this site.

“As a direct and specific result without your direct support now, CTH cannot exist.”

As Google only goes after truthful conservative news sites, they are falling like proverbial flies into hopeless bankruptcy.

All publishers of alternative news sites want is an even playing field, but Google is double-barrelled, and catches us coming and going. They deny us both traffic/exposure and revenue.

As CFP wrote to the social media giant regarding their daily demands to take our site down:

“We refuse to take down our site just because you ordered it. Google does NOT OWN the Internet.”

As it turns out, Sergey Brin, Google co-founder certainly knows a few things about communistic censorship:

They bankrolled district attorneys who refused to prosecute violent criminals. They paid for climate catastrophists, DEI consultants, open borders activists, and campaigns to “defund the police.” They thought they were purchasing credibility and the right side of history. Instead, they were buying their own rope.

“Brin himself offers the textbook case. He was a major Obama donor who called Trump’s 2016 victory deeply offensive. This year he emerged as the second largest individual donor in California, fighting a wealth tax that would cost him roughly thirteen billion dollars.”

“Has Brin finally figured it out? Maybe, but possibly a bit too late.

“My warning to you: pay attention before it is too late.”
