Can A Political Party Have A Personality Disorder?

At that joint session the Democrats just might have rang their death knell. Putting the last nail in the coffin of their failed political movement

It might be much simpler that that. The Dems were on a Marxist Merry Go Round, inches from grasping the brass ring that would destroy America forever. Or so they thought?

There is a term: "They Misread The Room." The Democrats “misread" the entire bloody nation's political mood. I keep hearing morons like Tim Waltz say: "We just didn't get our message out."

Yes, you did, "Tampon Timmy." One the entire nation just didn't want to hear: "America sucks, you're all racists, now just get used to us making you all poorer, and our bloated federal government bigger and more intrusive than ever."

77 MILLION of us said: "No Thanks,” voted for Trump... And the Democrats just can't believe it. At Tuesday’s Joint Session, Al Green screamed at Trump: "You Do NOT Have A Mandate !!"

The American voters disagreed. Trump walked in that joint session like a Roman General in what the empire termed a "Triumph." A grand parade only reserved for conquering generals, and gave the best speech of his life.

He taunted the Democrats. Saying their weaponized government threw everything at him to no avail, then said: "How did that work out?"

The Dems? Couldn't even bring themselves to clap for a 13-year-old black kid who beat brain cancer. Even PA. Senator John Fetterman called them "petulant."

The Morgan & Morgan founder, John Morgan wants to form a new "Centrist" party. He had been a huge Democrat party donor. When your party loses loyalists like that, you are in grave peril.

At that joint session the Democrats just might have rang their death knell. Putting the last nail in the coffin of their failed political movement. They just may go the way of the American Whigs, a Party birthed by Thomas Jefferson.

'Can a Political Party Have a Personality Disorder? (American Refugees Substack, Roger Simon, March 5, 2025)

"Who are those people, I wondered Tuesday night, as I watched the Democrats sit on their hands when brain cancer victim 13-year-old Devarjaye “D.J.” Daniel was recognized as an honorary Secret Service agent?

"But that was only one moment in a litany of similar nauseating reactions, or lack thereof, during President Trump’s first address to Congress for his second term.

"And that’s not counting Al Green’s sad acting out that resulted in his ejection. Mr. Green needs help but is unlikely to get it.

"I had to shake myself to remember I was once a Democrat in what seems like the Paleolithic Age but was actually a tad less than twenty-five years ago., scarcely a minute in human time.

"Nevertheless, the party I left, even though it was trending in the wrong direction, didn’t seem much like what I was watching now. What had happened? Why did they all behave like sullen children without an ounce of optimism for the future?

"The simple explanation was “Trump bad.” But it was almost too obvious and only part of the story. Something more is involved even if “he doth bestride the narrow world like a colossus.”.
