A Canadian teenager is among the students seriously injured in Thursday's attack on a Jerusalem seminary.
Fourteen-year-old Nadav Eliyahu Samuels is in intensive care at Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem, after being shot several times, including in the stomach, hospital officials confirmed to CTV News.
CTV's Janis Mackey Frayer reports that Samuels is receiving breathing assistance from medical equipment. Health workers who attended to the boy when he was first admitted to the hospital say his situation has stabilized.
He is currently in the surgical intensive care unit and doctors are expected to determine Saturday morning the course of his treatment, which may mean surgery.
The boy's father, Noah Samuels, is with him at the hospital, a source told CTV.ca.
