What if a school principal, made an announcement like this over the loud speaker to the high school students:

Effective tomorrow you will be required to wear uniforms. We don't know what color or style. We don't have a supplier. Every blonde, blue-eyed male will be exempt from the rules. Anyone related to a school board employee will be given a waiver. Anyone enrolled in Chemistry II will have 2 years to comply unless they graduate prior to the end of the 2 years. A poll of parents, students and teachers show that a majority do not agree with this change in school policy. We recognize that this will be unpopular, that the consequences are unclear, the ability to comply is nearly non-existent, but this is for your own good. We know what is best for you. Seriously, can you imagine the uproar? See any similarities? Mrs. Carolyn M. Brown
