Charges of racism

There is no defense against a charge of racism. Any action, resistance, argument or political position can be labeled racist, ending any hope for open and honest discussion and is a very effective strategy though not so productive.

If I don't like the actions of the President, I'm racist. If I don't agree with Sharia Law being honored in the United States, I'm racist. If I believe in voter ID, racist. Want the border secure, racist. Against Common Core, you got it -- racist. Don't think Obamacare is a sound program? Racist again. If I think the disability numbers, or food stamp numbers, or medicaid are too high -- I'm a racist. And on, and on, and on. I'm sick of it. I'm not a racist. However, I believe government is overspending and over regulating. I believe that the GLBT, black, Hispanic,and Muslim, are being afforded protections that are denied to white, Christian, heterosexual Americans. I believe Congress is irrelevant. I believe State's Rights are disappearing. I believe we are cheating our children of a quality education and of the lessons learned from striving to succeed. We are robbing them of self reliance. I believe we capitulate to foreign governments far too often. I believe we pay the bills for the United Nations and have little to no say. I believe we have lost our individualism and our exceptionalism because we have been sold on the notion that be individualistic and exceptionalism are somehow wrong. I am not a racist.
