Remember when you could stop in a coffee shop with nothing on your mind except craving a good cup of java and maybe a donut or flaky pastry? Remember when you could walk in and only the smell of fresh roasted coffee would fill your nostrils? It was a semi-oasis, a safe spot to enjoy one of the simple pleasures of life. With the warm smell of satisfaction swirling in your brain, your eyes gravitate to the menu board in search of that sweet side dish that would complete the experience.
But wait, what’s that? As your eyes glance toward the menu, something else catches your eye. No, it can’t be. Is that what I think it is? Yep, it is. On the wall is a cartoon like figure representing a transgender shirtless male, with scars indicating where her breasts were removed.
As you head for the door, your calm sense of peace has been replaced with disgust. At this shop, the radical left has destroyed the atmosphere, as well as any desire you had to patronize it. As time goes on, one can only hope that it learns the hard lesson that all woke businesses learn. Go woke and Go broke, so something as simple as coffee and a donut are served without a woke agenda.
The coffee shop in question is part of a chain in the U.K. named Costa Coffee. Costa has a well-deserved swell of outrage brewing, after plastering large cartoon figures of a transgender man with scars from a double mastectomy on their vans. A surgery that transgenders refer to as “top surgery.”
Really? I rarely go to coffee shops, but if I do find myself killing some time in one, I don’t need a serving of mutilation with my cappuccino.
I’m not the only one that believes that this is nothing more than a sick ploy to expose a woke agenda to impressionable minds.
The Independent is a British online newspaper. In a report they accused Costa of promoting mutilation and glamorizing the “complex and dangerous” act of surgically removing a girls healthy breasts.
Laurence Fox, who founded a new right wing political party that was unsuccessful in a run for mayor, also criticized the company of “promoting the mutilation” of young people's bodies. The Reclaim Party leader tweeted for all of the chain’s 13,450 outlets to be “boycotted out of existence.”
A spokesperson for the company issued the usual weak explanation for their indefensible position.
“We want everyone that interacts with us to experience the inclusive environment that we create, to encourage people to feel welcomed, free, and unashamedly proud to be themselves. The mural, in its entirety, showcases and celebrates inclusivity.”
James Esses, who is a commentator, writer, and advocate on the impact of ideology on society, wasn’t buying the company’s delusional explanation. In a series of tweets he explained:
“Supporting women to be themselves by encouraging them to fundamentally change themselves? …. Disgrace.”
When Esses was attacked by some online “disfigurement defenders,” he responded:
“I have received messages today telling me that I’m a “snowflake” for taking issue with @CostaCoffee. If the modern definition of “snowflake” is someone who takes issue with the glorification of bodily mutilation for a mental health condition, then I’m a massive snowflake.”

Author, and extreme radical liberal Ugla Stefania, made this moronic defense of Costa:
“Saw Costa was trending. Turned out it’s because they have an illustration of a trans masc. person and all the bigots are losing their minds about trans people existing. Great advertisement for Costa really. Thanks everyone, it’s a lovely illustration. The people in the comments calling consensual surgeries mutilation are just showing their disrespect to actual survivors of genital mutilation intersex people, cis women and others assigned female at birth suffer those every day all across the world. You should be ashamed.”
First, you aren’t assigned to be female at birth. You ARE female at birth, just like males aren’t assigned to be male, they ARE male at birth. Second, atrocities that are committed against both men and women are never condoned. More importantly, they are certainly never promoted and portrayed as acceptable.
Those people that are playing word games by referring to this tragedy as gender affirming “care” are beyond delusional. There is no other area of medicine where doctors will surgically remove a perfectly healthy body part and intentionally induce a diseased state of the pituitary gland misfunction based simply on a patient’s wishes. Too many of which are underage young adolescents.
The left is exploiting those that are suffering from mental illness at their weakest moments. Encouraging them to act irrationally in a way that will forever alter their lives. Painting them into a corner of oblivion, where they will suffer unconscionable torment. All because what should have been addressed for what it is, a false belief, was propagated into something more to satisfy the egos of radicals pushing a perverted agenda.
You can NEVER attain your “true self” by decimating who you “truly are.” The journey to becoming your “best self” cannot be accomplished by an imposter.
