Issue of fortifying the election laws in each state may determine whether America will continue to exist as a Free Republic

Common Citizens of California Fighting for Free and Honest Elections

Common Citizens of California Fighting for Free and Honest ElectionsIn mid-May, I posted an article about California’s “Recall Mania,” in reflection upon the recall effort to give Gavin Newsom a non-essential job. It is truly amazing that Americans even have the option to “throw the bums out,” either in an election or a recall effort like the one that had succeeded recently in California. The article referred to recall efforts that seemed to be springing up like wildfires all over California. This is a form of Democracy in action -- when the elected official has not fulfilled whatever campaign promises that were made, or if there is demonstrable incompetence, or evidence of criminal activities of political figures, “reverse elections” can spontaneously erupt.

Collective arrogance of California's political overlords

These recall efforts are not easy and they are not always successful. There needs to be incredible collective energy to initiate such a recall effort, and great leadership to sustain that energy, as well as serious diligence to protect the integrity of the collective efforts all the way through to the deadline to turn in the signatures. In politically toxic environments, great measures need to be employed to have security maintained in the chain of custody in delivering the signatures -- the voice of the people to the government authorities. So much could go wrong that many recall efforts fail for many reasons. The true success of a recall effort does not happen until the elected official is officially removed from office through an election of one type or another. So, technically speaking Gavin Newsom Is still the governor of California. Residents are still waiting to find out when the recall election will take place. The date was to have been announced as the state budget was released about a week ago, but it was not. And, political pundits in the Golden State are describing the budget process as broken. But, would that be news? As John Jon Coupal stated in the Pasadena Star News, ”the California Legislature has passed what can only be described as fake budgets. The 2021-22 ‘budget’ passed last week is no exception… as it leaves many issues unresolved.” The recall wasn’t an item for the Democrat-controlled state legislature. The Sacramento Bee identified the true intent of this year’s budget as “lawmakers pass budget that ensures they get paid...” There is a collective arrogance of the political overlords known as California state legislators because of their One-Party Control. Yet, there is more than arrogance in the hearts of the One-Party overlords. The arrogance is visible, but what needs to be seen is how little accountability to the people there is. Of course, now Governor Newsom is putting forth his best PR effort to be seen in public rubbing elbows with the “common folk” possibly to get some second chance in the minds of the people. It is like he is on the campaign trail in order to save himself from the embarrassment of being given his “pink slip.” One can imagine how the American colonists felt as they had to deal daily with the arrogance, condescension, and the disdain of a Royal governor who had been appointed by the Crown to control the “common folk” during the British dominion of the eastern seaboard of North America.

California: Why people keep electing Democrats

A real serious question that needs to be asked is whether it would make much of a difference if the California recall of Newsom is successful. The people will still be under One-Party Control. And, while Newsom is a genuine symbol of a political elitist, from a lineage of political elitists (or criminals) he is one guy. With all the energy and expenditure of time of all the patriots who struggled to collect the names of Californians who were fed up with such elitist control, one has to wonder why people keep electing Democrats. The recall is a reverse election, but it is so much more difficult, and there are no guarantees of success. Another equally serious question that needs to be addressed is whether the people of California are truly electing the Democrats, or whether such a party of corruption has cheated the good citizens with dishonest and unfair elections. If it were true, it may be why the state legislators are not worried about recalls. There are many in California who believe there have not been fair and honest elections for decades. And, while many Californians have voted with their feet and have fled the Golden State, there are several brave patriots who are still fighting for fair and honest elections amidst growing clarity that elections have not been fair nor honest for a long period. Certainly, across the nation, citizens are slowly awakening to a growing body of evidence that the 2020 national election may have been stolen. Maybe? But, no one is supposed to talk about that -- like people are not supposed to talk about the source of the Wuhan Virus. Suppression? - maybe? Absolutely! Definitely, election integrity is much more of a serious concern than it was 40 years ago. Although many people knew there was an element of corruption in the elections of the past, there was more of a reluctance to confront it. There was willingness to brush it under the rug - to pay little attention to it, in hopes that illegal manipulation of election outcomes would go away. It hasn’t -- it has only grown.

While many Californians have voted with their feet and have fled the Golden State, there are brave patriots who are still fighting for fair and honest elections

Historically, this is comparable to the core Founding Fathers believing that slavery would cease in the new nation conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all are created equal. California may have been one of the initial recent epicenters of premeditated wholesale manipulation of the electoral process. In the “Recall Mania” article, Steve Frank, editor and publisher of California Political Review, is credited with the name “Recall Mania.” Frank has written recently that questions are persisting regarding irregularities in the 2020 election in California. He deals in facts and asks a simple question: “Why are there almost 124,000 more votes counted in California’s November 3, 2020 election than voters recorded as voting in that election?” In an article on Tuesday, he stated that “We know about the 440,000 dead and those that moved out of State that received live ballots…” Another question to ask: Did those ballots actually count? One Republican congressional candidate complained after the election that he had questioned state election officials; he concluded those officials did not have any serious control over, nor knowledge of, the source of the cast ballots, and they probably didn’t really care. Yet, ten congressional candidates, together with Election Integrity Project® California, Inc., a citizen watchdog group, filed a lawsuit in January against Governor Newsom, the Attorney General, the Secretary of State and eventually 13 Registrars of Voters. That’s the way to do it! EIPCa fights for election integrity and the rights of every eligible voter to have their votes counted - and only once! That does not seem to happen in California, and this suit is unique in that it challenges California’s unconstitutional election process for future elections, despite the past corruption.

Radical change in California is due to the corruption and easy manipulation of our electoral process

Linda Paine, co-founder and president of the nonpartisan Election Integrity Project® California, Inc., is seeking answers to over two million documented registration and voting anomalies. The documentation of the truth of the California election process is a necessary and noble venture. As Linda Paine candidly explains:
the radical change in California is due to the corruption and easy manipulation of our electoral process. Noncompliance with state and federal law has resulted in: bloated voter rolls filled with illegitimate registrations; procedures in the polls that provide easy access to a ballot by those who don’t qualify to vote or who are attempting to vote more than once; and a legislative body intent on using legislation to create greater distance between the citizens and the assurance that their vote counts.
Has the corrupt standards of California infected several other states across the nation? It seems that the wave of state officials in several states across America taking a closer look at Arizona’s audit process, the demand for election integrity and the strengthening of state laws is absolutely necessary if citizens want to keep our Republic. This issue of fortifying the election laws in each state may determine whether America will continue to exist as a Free Republic, or one in name only -- and there are plenty of imposters.
