We live in intense times out here in Cyberspace. The award-winning conservative news source Black and Right was hacked this morning, with “Kurdish HaCkers DUHOK (ArrTiN@HoTmail.CoM” unabashedly taking credit for the hacking mission. “Someone got into his server and rewrote the front page of Bob Park’s blog,” explained Brian Thompson of Canada Free Press (CFP).

The location of the Kurdish hackers, traced through their IP address, is DUHOK, a tiny town north of Mosul in Iraq. CFP was able to set the blog back up by reinstalling black-and-right’s system software, but the blog’s front page and theme had to be completely revamped. Never one to mince words, Parks' retort to the Kurdish hackers, is not printable. A needed and courageous voice on the Internet, Parks kicked off his career in 1985 as a Navy journalist for his carrier (USS Midway, CV-41) publications. In 1989, after a brief but memorable investigative reporter stint with the Guam Tribune, he moved on into television as a graphic designer for the Fox Broadcasting Company (and other post-production facilities) in Hollywood. He became an online columnist in 2002 for Men’s News Daily, and has since written for websites like the New Media Journal, New Media Alliance, the Washington Times, ChronWatch, CFP, Family Security Matters and Accuracy in Media. Parks has also appeared as a guest on numerous radio programs, including the BBC, as well as on television: C-SPAN, CNN and Fox News. As active behind the scenes as he is online, in 2006, Parks served as the Vice-Chairman of the Massachusetts Republican Assembly; ran for chair of the Massachusetts Republican Party in 2007; Massachusetts State representative in 2008, and since 2003 produced, wrote and edited the award-winning cable access program Black & Right. Currently Video Producer for the Brent Bozell-run Media Research Center, few shout any louder against ObamaNomics than former trooper Bob Parks. Meanwhile, CFP has received emails about The Post & Email website, which has been offline for the last two days. The Post & Email is a go-to website for all things Obama. At 6:30 this morning, editor Sharon Rondeau posted a note on the Post & Email’s temporary site. “During a planned hosting change, The Post & Email was moved but has not been restored properly at this time. They are working around-the-clock on the problem, but I do not have a time frame as to when it will be up and running again. I have found that it is a very expensive site to run and maintain, having spent more than $1,000 in the last three months. The last hosting plan promised things that were not delivered, and we were grossly overcharged. I am completely overwrought about what has happened. “In order to recover, we will need your prayers, readership when the site returns, and your financial support. Even $1.00 a month will help a lot to get us back to where we were. “If there is anyone in the reading audience is is a WordPress expert, please contact me at editor@thepostemail.com. This is a very complicated site, and every time work has been done on it, there have been problems. Eventually I would like to have a whole new site designed, but that will be many months down the road if we can survive this. “Thank you for your support and prayers.” Meanwhile, when the cyber sharks are circling, you have to stick together.
